I thought she sounded very pretentious. She lives in the city with roommates and brunches at restaurants in SoHo only SoHo residents can afford and can't accept the fact she is a Jersey girl and not a New Yorker at all.

I was annoyed more and more as i turn the page but I just had to finish it since I paid for it and hopefully get some money back when I resell it. -

Sweet, well written and very enduring
I enjoyed this book - it was a fast read. Sad at parts because I knew that he "does not come around" and in the end even though she is an independent mom, JD does not have a dad. He does have some AMAZING men in his life!

This is what I took away from the book - NOT the struggles of a single mom because really been there and done that, but your NORMAL 20's experience. I had my daughter at 19 so I didn't go off to college (I went at 25 and finished at 28), I didn't have the random connections with people, I didn't travel, I have never lived "alone", never got up on Sunday and went to brunch, never did any of that. I read ALL those sections of the book like a kid in a candy shop. I would open close my eyes and imagine how being so carefree must have felt like, when I was that young. I AM NOT saying this in a bad way, not in the least..
Overall it was a good well written book. Even if you were a fan of her blog, you still walk away with more. Her brother totally cracked me up and her grandma was so sweet..
My only complaint - I wish we had pictures.

Review of "Rattled!"
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Ms. Coppa's writing style is lyrical and funny, and her story totally touched my heart. This book is certainly a "must" read for anyone who is pregnant and single, as Christine's memoir is almost a "how to cope with it all" guide for single moms. I have already purchased an extra copy to send to a friend who is expecting. I will anxiously be awaiting the sequel.

A very enjoyable book!!
"Rattled" was a book I could not put down. The story is fun and you can't wait to get to the next page to see what Christine has to say about her new life with a baby.

This is a book that you have to buy if you have had a child or want one.
I also enjoyed it because Christine likes to shop in big brand name stores and has to cut back now on her big spending because she has a baby with no child support and an appt to pay for.
I loved this book and was actually sad when I finished it. I wish it continued for a few more chapters. -
Entertaining!
This was definitely an entertaining book! Coppa takes you through all the ups and downs throughout her pregnancy and a little bit after her son is born. I have to say that my favorite section is after her son is born...there are moments she shares that really warm your heart (like when her Jack smiles for the first time). My one complaint are the more-than-a-few references she had during pregnancy about her size. Her complaints about being 150 lbs (God forbid!) and in a size large during her last trimester are not going to sit well with a lot of women, I think, ha. I think she could have expressed her distaste of her own size without giving exact numbers =) Overall, though, the I really liked the book and just passed it on to a friend for her to read.
