Before spending hundreds, even thousands, on curriculum, this book is a great 99 cents spent.

I am new to the process. I recently stepped out of corporate America to give the entrepreneurial road a shot. Buying and rehabbing homes is where my passion lies. My father, currently doing Short Sales & Foreclosures, connected with a young guy around 28 or so who flips 20 houses a year. I was able to go visit one of his houses near the tail end of the flip just last week. I think this was a critical point. A moment of knowing I can do this.

However, leaving the home being flipped, it was this feeling of "where do I start---where do I go from here?" I figured a good plan would be to become a sponge for the next week and soak up all knowledge I possibly could. This way I would be able to go back to my flipping contact with, at least, partially educated, productive questions. Low and behold, I stumbled.. truly stumbled, upon this book; 99 cents on my Nook. The first chapter was exactly what I needed to have confirmation that I truly can do this.

This book is an ideal, quick overview of Flipping REOs. There is no sales pitch. It's purely Matt sharing how he began, and some of what he has learned along the road. The book goes into the common terminology you will consistently hear once you begin the process. For a penny short of a dollar, what reason do you have for not buying this book? These days you spend more money on an item from the vending machine. It's a great buy. Perfect book to get your feet wet and gain an understanding of the overall process.

    WORTH THE BUCK!

Good high-level read on property investment. It doesn't go into the most detail, but the concise, and informal style makes it an easy read for someone wanting to learn the basics.
