Challenging, forces one to think 'outside the box', play on words use truly clever
I am enjoying this book of crosswords - it is challenging but when one gets one of the clues that has used a clever take on a word or phrase, it generates a grin. I just discovered I share a surname with the author, one that is not common. (Other than Will Weng or Eugene Maleska I have never noticed that crossword books had 'authors'!) The NY Times puzzles are the ones of choice for me.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

THESE PUZZLES ARE GREAT!
i do crosswords pretty regulary (ny times, mon. thru wed.) and the ones in this book are as good as any i've ever done. the clues are challenging, but not impossible, and the themes are great. Keeps you wanting more. As addictive as chocolate. So sad when it's over. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
