Hollywood is missing a good writer!

Patrick is awesome! His triology about the West Baden murders need to be made into Hollywood movies! Patrick is a genius! I would recommend any of his books to anyone who has the time to read. It is so well worth it!

My brother recommended Reaper, book one of the West Baden Springs Triology. This genre of reading is not one I would normally pay any attention to, however I was hooked on the first page. Very 'on the edge of your seat' suspensful and more twists and turns than you can imagine. Once I finished, I couldn't wait to read the next two books in the series. While a work of fiction, West Baden Springs Hotel is real and if you ever have a chance to tour this historical site, you won't be disappointed. You'll see first hand how the story of Reaper fits perfectly in this setting. A fast exciting read and hard to put down.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat - WOW- What a ride

Very suspenceful, loved the twists and turns. Didn't want to put it down and was even yelling to the characters to watch out or don't GO there. Very good mystery, can't wait to read the other 2 books. A must read, if you like murder mysteries. My son ended up on the cover of the Reaper, as Paul Clouse and I'm so glad he did, because I wouldn't have known about this book if he hadn't and now I want to read ALL of Patrick J. O'Brian's books. I only bought the book because my son was on the cover and didn't really expect much. BOY was I surprised. Some day I hope to meet Patrick J. O'Brian.

    A excellent terrifyingly ,suspenseful read:)

After touring the West Baden Springs hotel this last October and meeting the author who just so happened to be having a book signing in the gift shop at the time of my visit I decided to purchase the first book 'Reaper' in the trilogy,(more out of curiosity then anything else). In all honesty once I started reading this book I was totally addicted, I could not put it down.Terrifyingly suspenseful and at times graphically gruesome, to say I loved this book would be an understatement. The only regret I have is not buying the remaining two books in the trilogy at the same time so I wouldn't have to wait to see the outcome.
