Christians often feel as if they are locked in a war, a spiritual battle with the rest of the world. In these excellent resources, Mr. Rhodes addresses the major movements that face Protestant Christians. While he failed to convince the reviewer that Catholics would qualify as non Christian, the volume dealing with them is extremely instructive in learning about Catholic beliefs, which are often a mysterious thing to a non Catholic. Each book tackles the major and minor beliefs of the system addressed therein with respect and kindness. Rather than beating people over the head with a Bible, the reader learns how to minister gently to those they witness to. In the process, you learn a great deal about other views that in light of current events are timely and relevent. You might even learn a few things about Christianity itself that you did not know or did not understand well. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
