    4 STARS

This is the 3rd book of Hannah's Daughter that I have read. I enjoyed reading it. It is a sweet story of a Father raising his daughter by himself after his wife dies. Caleb not only just moved to a different state, but also became chosen as a preacher in his Amish Church.

The characters are enjoyable and I got caught up in their lives. I wanted things to workout with Rebecca.
Amelia is a cute little girl who sometimes is quiet a handful. I like how the community is helpful and caring. Not perfect but trying. This is a character and relationship driven story.

The setting is Seven Poplars, Kent County, Delaware in Autumn in a Amish community.
A very entertaining and uplifting clean story.
I would love to have read the whole series of Hannah's Daughters. I will be on the lookout for more stories by Emma Miller.

I was given this ebook to read and asked in return to give honest review of it by Netgalley and Harlequin.

I really enjoyed this Amish read. The community is there for one another, and the help continues until things are better!
We have Rebecca with an attraction to the new Preacher, Caleb Wittner. He is a times rude to her, hiding his feelings, or trying to deal with them. He is new to the community and God has chosen him to be the new Preacher. Wow, what a new life he has walked into. He lost his wife in a fire, where he carries the burden of not being able to save her. He was also was disfigured in the fire. Now he is living in a new community in a new state.
Love how the author showed that some people had problems with his looks, rather that looking at his heart. They also judged his young daughter who was struggling with the loss of her Mother. Where Rebecca and a few others helped her with praise and distraction, others thought corporal punishment was what was needed...ugh!
Wrap yourself in this quick, but good read. I loved it!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Published Harlequin, and was not required to give a positive review.

Sweet Read! Caleb is new to the community and the new preacher.

    Sweet Read!

Caleb is new to the community and the new preacher. His young daughter is a handful and she has already gotten a reputation of being hard to handle. Rebecca is volunteered by her family to help look after the girl and help with the housework. Rebecca soon finds herself falling for the new preacher but could she be too late?

I have enjoyed reading the books in this series. This book was fun to read.

What I liked: Rebecca was very likeable. Her interactions with Caleb made me laugh out loud a lot. The story was interesting and kept me turning the pages all the way to the end. The ending was maybe a little predictable but made me smile. I ready did not want the book to end.

What I did not like: There was not much I did not like other than the book was too short!

Overall this was a sweet book. Caleb was rough around the edges because he had lost his wife and felt responsible. As he gets to know Rebecca he started to soften up and enjoy life again. By the time Rebecca realizes she has feelings for Caleb he is already searching for a wife and fears she has missed her chance and I enjoyed how it all played out. Even though this is the 7th book in the series it can be read as a stand alone. If you enjoy Amish fiction and romance this is a great book to read!

    A Heart Warmer!

I have read many books by author Emma Miller.  She did not let me down with this fantastic Christmas read.
Her books are about God, Family, Love, Forgiveness, and Faith.

Sometimes we try to control our lives and the situations in our lives instead of letting go and letting God.  This is
exactly what happened in this story.

I am sure that you will love the main characters in this book as much as I did.  Rebecca Yoder is a young lady full of
life.  Caleb Wittner is a widow that has a lot of issues from his past.  His daughter Amelia stole my heart.

This is a delightful read that I am sure everyone will enjoy as much as I did!
