Thriller spans the globe and the heart

America, Africa, and the Middle East are woven together in the Diane and David Munson's web of international intrigue, danger, and exploits. Don't let the slower paced opening of Redeeming Liberty fool you, this novel is gearing up for full-throttle adventure, entwining the stories of Sudanese exiles with a federal parole officer and FBI and CIA operatives and their efforts to keep citizens safe, not only in the U.S. but around the world.

Will falsely accused Wally, a former "lost boy" from Sudan, be cleared of robbery charges? Will Liberty, his girlfriend who was kidnapped from their homeland, be found and freed or remain a slave? Can the terrorists' production of IEDs and even-more-deadly "disease" explosives be halted or at least stalled?

Join the wild ride behind the scenes as unsung heroes fight for their lives and those of the rest of the world. Romance and struggles with faith add depth to this suspenseful thriller. Several of the characters star in other books by the Munsons, but each novel stands firmly on its own. I recommend them.

    Worthwhile Read!

All of the Munson novels I have read have been great. This one was no exception. Every time I put it down I was itching to get right back to it.

    Riveting!

Communication, or lack of, between governments, agencies are reality based as are the various plots and scenes.
The main difference betwen this suspense thriller and others in the genre are the character's relationships and inner conflicts deftly illustrated and blended well within the plot.
World travels from the U.S., Africa, Iraq and Iran are vividly described. These authors also vividly portray the lack of personal time, privacy, sleep and home life the agents have in order to protect family, friends and the world. It gave a new appreciation for the sacrifice made on our behalf.
