Perfect!!!

This was a book that I needed to read for class and was glad that I picked, it was amazing to find out that our day to day life and be so far different from another person. I learned a lot from this book, for one, ways that people grow up is very different, the musical stardom is not always the easiest career to take and that even though a person is famous it doesn¿t mean that they are invincible to the everyday roadblocks that are put ahead of us. Gretchen Wilson you are a phenomenal person and writer thank you so much for going through all the trouble you did because you now are an inspiration to many, especially me!

Inspiring and Down to Earth!!!

This book is truly inspirational. A lot of people think-down on your luck singer makes good-we have heard it a million times. You haven't heard it a million times because no one has ever written something this revealing and no holds bar about their own life. Gretchen is not only a terrific singer/songwriter/performer but now a great author!!!!

Beautifully written book of a girl who had nothing but hopes and dreams and had nothing to lose but followed her dreams and made them come true.This book is very real and inspirational.It makes you feel closer to Gretchen Wilson and see what she went thry to get where she is today.I give this book a big thumbs up.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't stop reading until I was through it. I feel like I know so much more about her. I didn't think I could be any more of a fan. I love the 'old school' country sound she brings to country music.

This book is great. It really makes you feel like you know Gretchen personally. Like she is your friend or a family member.
