    Do you believe in Magic?

I loved the book Remembering Walt: Favorite Memories of Walt Disney. From reading this book, I was able to understand and have a better idea as to who Walt Disney was. I felt as if I know him personally. This book leaves you satisfied and you feel like you have been educated. The way this book is orgainized and structured makes you want to read more. There are some interesting facts and details about Walt. If you already love Disney you will learn a lot and discover something you may have not already known once you read this book. It is an eye opener and I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn and know who Walt Disney was.

A Great Disney Documentary in Book Form!

I loved this book! I wanted to learn more about Walt upon returing from Walt Disney World, I felt strange that I knew very little about him (perhaps because I was born after his era?)I felt as a fan of his Epcot park (that was an important project to him) that I should learn more about him. This is a reliable source of info, told from those who knew him firsthand, it is quality work, perhaps because it is made by the Disney empire itself, so it does him justice. I was fascinated at the fact that he did not have academic acheivements, but he was a genius in spite, and amazingly 'people smart.' He was ahead of his time and in love with his work, this even comes through in the great photographs. Also highlighted is the steadfast support of his brother Roy and wife Lillian, who were with him through everything, all the ups and downs. The book reads easier than your traditional biography. It has charm, humor, even sadness at times. All in all, it is a fascinating look at the 'man behind the mouse' who came out of nowhere and built an empire that put a permanent stamp on American culture.
