I truly enjoy Lora Leighs books ad look forward to her future ones. Te Elite Ops series has been my favorite, but the Navy Seals series as well as the Breeds series are also spectacular. I started reading a lenghtly excerpt from Renegade while it was still available and now I cannot wait to recieve my copy when it is available next week. I love how there is always an evolving larger story to all of Lora Leighs books, but most of all, I love how all the elements are there. There is love, sex, murder, intrigue, danger, redemption, and salvation. Critics are always harsher, looking for how well a novel is technically written and over analyzing an authors plot formula. The truth is as a reader I enjoy reading Lora Leighs novels because I feel as though I am there with these characters, a mouse in the house watching their world unfold. And that is as it should be. Bravo again Mrs.Leigh!!! Keep them coming! Look forward to Jordan Malone's story!!!!

I was so disappointed in this book. It didn't even read like a Lora Leigh novel. It was filled with spelling and grammatical errors. The margin and font sizes make it apparent this was a blatant rush-to-press release. What were they thinking? This is supposed to be the next release in the Elite Ops series, but there was absolutely no thought to continuity. Just because Ian & Kira are in the book, doesn't meant the Elite Op story continues. These are watered down versions of previous characters in the series. Apparently they just needed some word-filler to tie the sex scenes together... and then they all lived happily ever after.

    Ok

    ## I liked this book but didn't love it. The plot was good. A girl next door type witnesses a murder but nobody believes her. The man accused has a solid alibi. He hires a special ops guy to prove the woman is a liar but he lusts after her and eventually takes her virginity. Of course the obligitory "I can't give you more, only sex" speech ensues, however the heroine falls for him regardless. They investigate the crime and this is the part that dragged on and on. If they could have made some headway in the case it wouldn't have gotten so boring. Also, I didn't like the hero. I found him to be a cold, overbearing ass. Ok, he was superman in the sack, but that doesn't explain why the heroine fell for him. Where were his redeeming qualities?
