Some heroes, in order to defeat their enemies, do horrible things; some villains, from time to time, do noble things and fight for a good cause in the end.
The thing I like the most about this book, and of the series in general, is, not the magic itself, but the situations the heroes are placed in. Whenever someone decides to be stubborn and selfish, or makes mistakes ,lives are lost.
Whenever a heroine, or hero, wants to save a loved one she/he has to sacrifice a lot.
RESURRECTION totally exceded my espectations, it was worth the wait.
Whether you are a loyal fan, or whether you are looking for something good to read this summer, you should defenitely read WICKED RESURRECTION.Show Less

Book Lover
I read all the other books a few years back and enjoyed them but they were never my favorites. I always thought that they way it ended was horrible but never heard anything about another book. So when this one came out I got very excited and had to buy it. It was hard to get started at first but not too far in and I couldn't put it down. I love this book and I thought the ending was amazing. I looked that Holly finally ended up with Jer. I was upset about some of the people who died though. Overall I think this book is my favorite of the series. It is now one of my favorite series all together.

AT LAST THE END
RESURRECTION is the best book of the series. So full of surprises. It makes me sad that some who deserved life are now dead, so much is now lost. The inner conflict in each character makes them very realistic.

Good Story, But Too Many Characters
I enjoyed the novel Resurrection, the conclusion to the Wicked series. But while reading the novel I noticed that there were an abundance of characters. Most of these characters had been introduced in the previous novels. But, honestly, I've heard that you're not supposed to focus on more than eight or so characters. There were twenty-seven major characters. I know this because I went through after reading the novel to count how many characters were listed at the beginning of each chapter (the characters and place are listed to help you out since there are so many of them), making sure I didn't count the same character twice in the book. Those are just the major characters. Not the minor characters. There were at least ten of those, maybe more. The story was good, but trying to keep up with all the characters is difficult. I didn't feel as though all of them were needed. The story itself was good, but it could have been excellent if the authors had just stuck to the characters they introduced in the first novel, Witch, and possibly only adding a character to two more. Not twenty more. All in all, if you have some spare time it's a good book. I loved the story itself. Just be prepared to get a pad of paper to keep up with all the characters and their actions.

Review for Wicked Resurrection
resurrection is a book that finnishes the wicked series you find out who Alex really is in the end and you find out what happens between Holly and Jer. Nicole is a new mother and Amanda is engaged to Tom. You find out a lot about Eli and a crazy scientist is trying to bring back Kari from the dead. There are more mithical creatures and the Judement of Balance between good and evil but who will replace the fallen Judement. it would have to be some one who has been truly good and truly evil. i can't say that i love this book, the ending to me is terrible because i don;t like what haooens to holly, but the beginning is good.

Finally everything is resolved
The wait is over for me to read this book 6 long years after reading the others before this. I can't say I'm not glad that the story is finally finished, but now after reading it, I am sort of disappointed as to how the story and the plot unraveled and where they had led to. I'd imagined something more after all the chaos and climactic actions in the forth book but to me, nothing much more happened in this finale. I wasn't frightened for the characters, wasn't at the edge of my seat hoping everyone would end up okay. I'm sorry to say that the authors did not make me relate to the characters and feel the emotions that they were dealt with or the tragic events that they had to fight. I loved this series and had hoped for a great battle in this last book but sadly I felt it was lackluster than the rest. Thanks to the authors for finally finishing this series. I read it because I love books and I wanted to know what the ending had in store for my favourite characters no matter if it was good or bad. Because books take me to a whole different world and it just wouldn't be the same if I had made up my own story or ending of my characters. So to the fans of this series, read it to fulfill your curiousity and because you want to be taken to where your characters are and for closure to the story because that's what it was for me.

A HORRIBLE end to an equally HORRIBLE series
This book was a waste of paper. Not to mention a waste of time. I didn't really the first book (Wicked and Cursed) but I kept reading them because the reviews claimed they got better and more interesting after the first. Really, nothing much happens. I didn't really like the characters, namely Holly. She's too dry and her and Jer's romance is hard to believe. Doesn't like they have much chemistry. Then there's Nicole who just one day magically wakes up 9 months pregnant. I know they're witches, but, c'mon. This book was just long and boring and didn't answer any questions like who the father of Nicole's baby is. i don't know about Nancy and Debbie's other books, but this series should be avoided.

Action packed & exciting
The third & final book in the Wicked Series was great! It was fast paced & had so many twists and turns, I wasn't sure what would happen next. Holly has made so many good/bad/difficult decisions throughtout the series that I wasn't sure if she would end up good or bad. The ending was great & the overall theme of this dark & twisted series always comes back to good vs. evil (which is not always black & white) and above all, love. I would recommend this to older teens/young adults (16+) because of some of the gruesome things and mature themes in this book. I loved it & am sad to see it end!

DONT GEt ME WRONg...
yea i did love the story, and for that reason the ending really dissapointed me. (spoiler) he basically was still burned, and she's practically blind. ya there together finally in a weird way but c'mon! it seriously ended like that? she didnt even wanna be one of those people upstairs. all this "world balance" crap is so annyoing in my opinion. i just wish it ended with him healed and her having a family with him or something. :/ i dont know, maybe thats just me. No offense to the writers but i'm just being honest in all my reviews.

Edge of the seat good!
This being the conclusion to the Wicked series, it is an extremely good book. When I was almost to the end of it, I felt kind of sad. Wicked:Resurrection brought all of the conflicts past and present to a close in a very round about way. I do have to say that in order to understand fully what is going on most of the time, you have to pay close attention. This book bounces out of pasts and presents alot over short periods of time and if you don't pay attention to who you are reading about, you will get confused.

Wicked Resurection
I love this story. For everyone who said that it was too dark, you should read the back coming into the story. The House of Deveraux are evil. I was horrified to find out exactly who Alex really was. Even though the ending could have been way better, I still got that sense of clousure that I still needed with this story. Everyone still what they either wanted or needed at the end. Yes, there was a lot of violance, but I read this one with the same enthusiasm as I read the first four, and I loved every second of it. If you think it is too dark, go back and reread the series, because in every book one of the Cahors witches almost dies. Dare everyone who reads this to either read the book or reread the series.

This book, Resurrection, is the fifth book and the conclusion of the Wicked series by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie.
The book Wicked, Resurrection is the conclusion to the book series Wicked. While it had its good moments overall, I thought that it wasn't one of the best stories that I had ever read. I feel that the characters were flat and I couldn't relate to them or find myself inside their minds like I could in the first four books in this series. Resurrection picks up where Spellbound is left off, though I feel that some of the plot was confusing, and not everything added up in the end.

Too Much Left Open
Ok, so I loved the first book in this series and was really excited to continue. I read the second and was a little disappointed. I felt like some of the flashbacks were never really explained and didn't make sense in the story. The same thing happened int he third except for more frequently. I feel like a lot of the flashbacks had no point at all and I had no clue why they were added to the story. I feel like there is so much left to explain and that the authors didn't want to dive into the subject of "The other Cahors" that were still around so they just had Nicole say no thanks as their way out. We don't know how the past was really changed when the Duc went back in time and we don't know what really happens with any of the characters. The Blind Justice thing comes out of NO WHERE and is completely absurd. There are so many other things they could have done with Holly and Jer, like made then the Lady and Lord of the new Mother Coven and they could have been the High Priestest and Long Arm of the Law for the new age of Witches and Warlocks. I truely think the authors lost their passion for the story and rushed through this last book as well as the second. I feel like so much was left unexplained and rushed past that I was actually angry when I finished reading.

Not as good
the first two of this series were my favorite. but this one was a bit of a let down. the plot had seemed to fade and and was just not quite as thrilling. i give it 3 stars, if only because you find out a few of several questions that you were asking since the first book.
