This book does not have your average cheesy ending.

I¿m glad that there is finally a series for readers who like Drow. Please write more books with a Drow as a main, evil characters.

I love books 1 through 4. When i read five i was wondering where this is leading up to. Than when i read book seven i realize that the ending was dissapointing. It was like the worthless characters that always needed help , and even sometimes lose their cool were favored. i dont blame it on the authors, because the authors were all great. I just thought that this book needed to improve on character work rather than destroy the characters that were a big part of the story

    Buyers Beware!

I've never written a book review before, but after reading this series, I felt like I owed it to fellow Realms fans. The first four books were incredible! I couldn't put them down. Things were crazy, & I was salivating to find out how things would end. About midway through book five, things literally changed. From that point on, the books became predictable & some segments seem to drag on endlessly. I'll use this analogy. Imagine that Lucas added an extra hour to Return of the Jedi, but that entire hour was extra scenes of the battle between Luke, Vader, & the Emperor. You know how it's going to end, so eventually you just fast-forward through that scene. For the first time, in my life, I found myself skimming through large segments of the final book. What was a focal point of the book just seemed pointless, to me. There was even a segment that makes no sense at all. Why was it in there, & what was the point anyway? The end is such a letdown. All I'll say is that the more things change the more they stay exactly the same. Pointless! Add to it that my two favorite characters from the book end up dead, while everyone else lives. Read the first four books & let your imagination fill in the rest. The sixth book is a major disappointment, in my opinion.
