Was skeptical when I bought the book but it ended up being great

Was skeptical when I bought the book but it ended up being great! It was funny, thoughtful and, importantly to me, God-centered. Refreshing take on single hood that doesn't glorify sex and makes the choice of being a virgin "normal". Reading this was indeed like chatting with a good friend... no judgement, gentle encouragement and just the right balance of seriousness and humour!

Best Book on Singleness I have read in a LONG time...maybe ever.

I found this book by complete cooincidence! I was surfing a completely unrelated site and it was a "suggested book" on the side bar. I can totally see God's plan in bringing this book of encouragement, hope and humor about being single! This book was a God glorifying guide through some of the issues I have experienced and not yet experieced being a single girl at the age of 27. There are some things addressed in this book that I didn't realize I struggled with that were approached with such grace and love and from a point of view that is similar to my own. In many ways I could relate to the feelings and attitudes expressed and EVERY chapter ended with a God answer that maybe didn't solve the problem right now but at least pointed you to the one who could solve it in the future...even if it means waiting and waiting and waiting some more on him to answer. Encouraging! Life renewing! and EXTREMELY funny!

    Funny, Thought-provoking, and REAL!!!

This book was terrific...funny, thought-provoking, and REAL! Even though I am an old married woman, I reaped a lot from this book. I would highly recommend this book to any woman...single or married.
