Technically I would give this 2.5 not 2, but they don't have a button for that.

After I finished All's Fair In Love, War and High School I was really excited to read Revenge of the Cheerleaders, but in the end I was disappointed. First of there was a distinct lack of revenge given the title. I did not like her love interest, I thought he was dull and flat (before I read it I thought that she was going to get together with Rick, which I would have prefered). I thought that Chelsea was too self absorbed, when her friends were having problems she only thought about how that affected her. It really bothered me when she was trying to boost Molly and Polly's self esteem and the first thing she did was tell them flat out that they dressed badly and it was no wonder people teased them, and they just took it.

In spite of all of this, it wasn't a bad book, just disappointing, especially given that I really enjoyed All's Fair... It's a really quick read, so even if you don't like it, you only lost a day or so. I hope that in the future there are more Pullman High books. I'd like to find out what happens to Aubrie and Rachel (hopefully the books are closer to All's Fair than Revenge). Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
