    Great new stitches!

I bought this book mainly because there are knitted stitches that look like crochet. I haven't seen this in other books and can't wait for spring when I'll be making swimsuit cover-ups and cotton shawls.

I also like a lot of the reversible stitches that are done in single color but look interesting from both sides.

Most of the knitting patterns are interesting but I don't like the models. Their faces are adult but they are way too thin. The sweaters would look totally different on a person with an average to large bust.

If you tell your reader that a sweater can be worn inside out, backwards, upside down etc....a photo of each view would be helpful. The sweater I'm making can be worn eight different ways but there are only two photos. A big draw on this particular sweater is I can see sizing it down, using a thinner yarn and making it for kids. There's no wrong way to put it on!

Wonderful Resource for any Knitting library

Fascinating knit stitches that can (for the most part) be used on both sides - great for inspiration for knitters interested in learning something new.

I've used the stitches as a resource for creating new patterns. I haven't tried any of the intriguing patterns that are included with the book - but it makes a nice balance of having both the reversible stitches and then some reversible patterns.

A great reference to add to any library, but probably not best suited to beginners early in their knitting careers.
