    i really like this book

The book 'Ride The Dark Trail' by Louis L'Amour was an exciting book. It caught my attention with the first page i read. Lousi L'Amour uses discriptive words to make you feel and visualize whats going on. In the begining of the 'Ride The Dark Trail', Louis tells you how the Sackeet family came about. Louis tells why Logan Sackett comes too this special house, and how he meets this special person. Louis also tells you about Logan Sackett, how he is a wild rootless kind of guy, and so was this special person. Logan had, lets just say a few guns in his collection. These guns were for anyone that tried to take him on. Emily Talon is a tall and lean old widow. Emily protects the special house when the locals try to come and take it from her. The locals are affraid of Emily because there are storys about her telling how she shot a guys knee cap out when he tried to get the house. This house means a lot to the locals because it has a water supply (a river) only walking distance from the house. The locals really need that river to water there crops and to tap it to get water that is close by. Logan Sackett helps Emily Talon keep the locals out, and from taking the house away. The story 'Ride The Dark Trail' is a very interesting book. It caught my attention and made me feel like i was in the book with Emily Talon, Logan Sackett, and the locals. If you want to find out what happens to the wild Logan, crazy Emily, or the special house you should really read the book then. This is one of those books you just cant put down, you just wanna keep reading. I really think Louis L'Amour did a great job writing this book.

    It was surprising

At the begining of the book it thought it was going to be hard to understand and follow along with but i caught on real quick. As i read along i got a real good vivid imagination about what was going on. It turned out to be a very good book.
