I have just recently gotten back into reading romance novels and it's a great thing I started with Brenda Jackson! She did not disappoint and the relationship between the two characters was indeed 'a perfect storm'...... this book has convinced me to read the entire series surrounding the Westmoreland Clan. Great book, I would absolutely reccomend this along with anything else written by this author, if for no other reason than to be able to lose yourself in the love story of the characters.

All while reading this book, I had the urge to throw it against the wall. This book did not make sense. The plot was ridiculous. The heroine, Jayla is child-like and indecisive. Her motive for getting artificially inseminated, as a virgin, is ludicrous. We are supposed to believe an educated woman would bring a child into the world just because she is lonely and wants someone to love and love her in return? Why can't she love herself? To make matters worse, she asks for the specimen to come from what she deems a carbon copy of the hero, Storm Westmoreland. That way, the child will resemble him. Now I ask you, if she lives in the same town as the hero, wouldn't there be speculation as to whether a child, who looks exactly like him, is really his? This book made no sense. Characters are transparent and this experience has been a total waste of time.
