Wish I Could Give it Six Stars. . .

Who thought you could combine nanotechnology with the Teutonic Knights, but this book does it. I've now read everything by this author, and this is his best book to date. Jake Adams, who has been around much longer than Jack Bauer, is a hero with just as many flaws, yet with much more sex appeal. He's a stud. The writing in this Jake Adams International Thriller Series is so compelling it will soon find its way to the big screen. Better than the Bourne Series. Better than Bond. Any producers out there?

    Recommend (maybe)

An evil German, a few Slovaks, a Czech, and a Hungarian (who may be gay, but may be not), conspire to create a supper race with the discovery of a duped scientist. The evil bunch are all retired hokey players for no special reason. Then come an ex-CIA, now private super hero, the CIA, a police officer, and the German Secret Service and the President of Austria, to save the day and Europe. All that with some nooky sprinkled in. I have seen worse.

    Basically a good book...

General good plot/idea, but not partcularly well written or told.

Super repetitious, quite over-written. How many times must we read about what make/model which character is driving!!! (Especially when they are driving the same damn car they were driving in the chapter before???)

    Takes awhile to get into

Initially reader is overwhelmed with character identities. Eventually writer neatly ties them all together. Relationships were disjointed and difficult to track. Author made a fair attempt at weaving in cold war espionage with futuristic scientific application of nanotechnology.
