The Rising Force is here
Awesome, awesome to the max. The scales are excellent and fun-fast-paced. Black Star's intro has a nice slow rythmm and the fast guitar playing makes this song cool, Far Beyond the Sun is my favorite. It jams big-time. The keyboards are nice and when Yngwie starts the lightning fast played scales, it just blows the whole song away. I think Steve Vai is a better guitar player, but I would rather listen to Yngwie because he has better songs and instrument work. But that is my opinion. I think Steve Vai is cool but his song are so kooky that he doesn't bring out his full potential in songs. So I like Yngwie better. I think this is the best album by Yngwie (along with Trilogy, and Unleash the Fury) Excellent songs and even better guitar playing. This is a must buy for all you guitar virtouso fans and players.

This set a standard
There was not a guitar player on the face of the GLOBE that didn't sit up and take notice when this was released 20 years ago . No other guitar player is this fast and this clean . His use of chromatic chord structures had never been done before . If you think you are a good guitar player , try this . The only weak spot is the pedestrian ( even by heavy metal standards ) lyrics .
