Decent story

This was a pretty decent story, however it was written by someone from the UK so there was a bit of a difference for me in understanding the terms used. But otherwise it was a pretty good story.

    First of (Hopefully) Many

An interesting pair of sleuths, in a very intricate plot that is well-developed and spell-binding. The story keeps you intrigued, as does the development of each character in the book. I look forward to reading of further exploits of Detective Inspector Romney (no relation to Mitt, I take it?) and Sergeant Marsh.

    ENOUGH ROPE

I didn't get to finish the review. I listed the good qualities of the book but I did not finish. The book was WAY WAY too long. During the first 600+ pages I kept falling asleep. The last 150 pages reallypicked up. The author could have written this book in under 250 pages while keeping the same story and concepts andhad a much better book. With all the positive comments on the previous rating and these comments added, I rate this book a 2 1/2 to 3
