A Definite Worthwhile Read
I remember hearing about this novel when it still wasn't published and actually had read some of it before the publication. I have to tell you, from what I remember, the rest of the novel exceeded my expectations. Tristian is the quintessential British Bad Boy who by the middle of the book, weasels his way not only into Bridget's heart but your own.
The things they go through as a couple are believable and it is written in such a way that you think you're in the book...or spying on them as their story unfolds. The ending was touching and I felt myself tearing up. Definitely a great book and a worthwhile read. And for those who like their books to include a little smut, it's got that too.
I highly recommend to anyone who believes in true love, soulmates, and a higher power as well as those just looking for a well written and original love story that you can read over and over again.Show Less

A waste of money and time
The synopsis caught my eye when I first came across this book. I was genuinely interested. Sadly, this interest only lasted about fifty pages from which on it was a journey filled with eye rolling, sighs and moments when I thought I couldn't read one more page of this. Still, I continued on reading, in hopes that things would catch up later on. They didn't. Cliché after cliché, this story went out and gathered everything a book written in this genre should be wary of. The plot is predictable, with elements taken out of different D class movies, such as the obligatory "heart break" scene, where the male protagonist is believed to have been cheating on his girlfriend. However, unlike in the movies, this drama only lasts a couple of hours and then everything goes back it its sappy normality. One could put up with the corniness of the story if the characters were half well written, but sadly, it fails to deliver on that front, as well. The attempt to make them lovable was there, however, instead of that, the protagonists turned out to be irritating. Bridget Monahan, who is supposed to give off the vibe of a woman jaded by love appears as an unstable teenager and Tristan Hathaway is the proof that the author has absolutely no idea of what British people are like. Most of the erotic scenes give the impression of badly written smut fanfictions you can find online and instead of setting the mood, it makes the reader scoff. All in all, this book is a prime example of why self publishing is not a good idea, because chances are, it'll just give the impression of fanficiton which should stay where it belongs: on different forums on the Internet.

A Definite Worthwhile Read
I really enjoyed this novel. The story and the characters were refreshing...you don't find a novel like this as a stand alone. Bostic did a wonderful job intertwing characters that were believable-people you could defintiely see yourself knowing in real life-and a plot that is really amazing.

April's words painted me intrigued!
Immediately when I began to read the first chapter of the story my attention and mind got sucked in, as if I was really there. April's wording and attention to detail really got my imagination running wild! This made it hard for me to stop reading it! She made her characters very relatable so that readers can connect with at least one of the characters. One of the main characters, Bridget, was so warm hearted and inviting, you felt an immediate connection to her right away. When she was happy or sad, you felt happy or sad with her! Tristan was my absolute favorite character, he has a sneaky, charming way of stealing your heart. This book is more than just something to read in your spare time, it's something you read to get away from the stresses of everyday life!

A Great Read
I started this book a long time ago, but it still kept my interest months later. The possessiveness of Tristan and the fiery redheadedness of Bridget was great, and the drama keeps you reading.
However, some things she might have needed work on was the passive writing. I remember April said she was, so I hope she gets better at the more active writing!1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

are you looking for a love story with a little of everything in it? drama, romance, fantasy, and intrigue. If you are then you should be reading this book.
I have to say that this book definitely has a little of everything in it. I found it to be a wonderful love story. I think most women dream of finding that one person to spend the rest of their lives with who is their soul mate. The one person who is your perfect match. The love scenes were HOT HOT HOT. The chemistry between the two main characters was so strong that I found myself wishing that I could be Bridget, the female main character. I've never been a big romance novel reader but I'm glad my co-worker recommended the book to me. I could not put It down. It had romance, sex, intrigue, fantasy, and loss. I really enjoyed reading it and I recommend that anyone with a romantic heart should read it.

How could anyone say anything bad about this book because i thought that it was amazing. I hope that they know that they are a ho to put off this book.
