    Where was the editor?

This book makes me wonder if editors even exist these days. There are so many grammatical errors throughout the entire book which really detract from the enjoyment of the story. The plot was interesting, but the story would be much improved by filling out the characters giving them more depth.

Hard to enjoy with so many errors

I wanted to like this book, as I am a fan of Victoria Holt books, but the writing was very poor. Also there were so many grammatical errors that it was very hard to read.

    Great Plot, But Unedited!

The plot was pure Victoria Holt, but the novel would have been greatly improved with careful editing. There were so many grammatical errors that I was too distracted to enjoy the story.

    Truly enjoyable read.

I have always enjoyed reading Victoria Holt books and I found this one to be in a similar style of writing. Once I started the book I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Pure joy to read.

    You never let go!

This book is outstanding. It's captivating from the very start and keeps your attention to the end. It's the type of book you don't want to put down. I'm looking foward to reading B. Conner's next book.

I hope B.Conner will write more like this.

It was fast moving and full of suspense. I liked it a lot and it reminded me of early Victoria Holt books.
