Great job, Penny Clover. I loved this book. The characters were so real. Good women in real life situations but at the same time entertaining. Plus it was a good mystery. And I can't go without mentioning at times it was just laugh out loud funny. I enjoyed your line regarding Inspecter Lindley. The sister's & their mother, Angela could give Stephanie Plum & her family a run for their money. Just keep them on the path they are on without getting totally outrageous. Hoping this is just the 1st book in a new & exciting series.

I recommend it if you do not need gore and kinky sex to be entertained in a mystery.

This was an enjoyable read if you want a light predictably moving story. Individuals who are 40+ will enjoy it. I would read another book by her for a relaxing afternoon or two. Not recommended for book club discussion.

A delightful book full of quirky, fun characters who stumble into many silly predicaments while attempting to solve the mystery du jour.

    So far just fair!

I'm on page 180 and so far the characters are ok. They are likable but, what I don't understand is the need to make the dog have such an obnoxsious habit of humping! So unnecessary!!!! I don't if I'll keep reading the book!
