Not everyone will relate
This book has a lot of value and a lot of practical advise, but she goes on and on about how much support they had and how much support we will all have when faced with this nightmare. I never had one meal delivered, no one was there to help with my grandson whom I'm raising. I live over an hour away from where I grew up and most of my friends and family still live, so all this did was made me feel more alone. Another point I'd like to make is that she is trying to help the grieving parents as well as those trying to support grieving parents. Maybe she needs to write a second book for support people or, if she feels it needs to be said in the same book, maybe she could have one section in the back for those who want to know how to help. Good book, but not great. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
