The most exciting craft book I've seen in years!
What a great way to combine two hobbies! Unlike many craft books which have just one or two good ideas, nearly every item featured in this book was one I wanted to make immediately! I teach rubber stamping and sell a particular line of stamps and found the projects would easily adapt to the stamps I have available. There were many media used with which I was familiar such as shrink plastic and polymer clay, and some I'd never considered, such Friendly Plastic and Fun Foam. Included are easy-to-follow basic jewelry-making directions including introductions to tools and working with findings. I've taught simple 'junque jewelry' making in Girl Scouts, but this stuff is really attractive and the close-up pictures and instructions for working with wire were so easy to follow that I'm confident I can do it too. I'm currently collecting the tools described in the tool list and the materials for the various projects, and looking forward to an orgy of creativity!
