    Perfect Thriller

Ruby Landry is a teenage girl trying to live life in her impoverish cajun swamp town. When Paul Tate sets his eyes on her she feels on top of the world until her Grandmere tells her the truth about her mother. Ruby ends up leaving the swamps for the good city of New Orleans where her father is quick to shower her with gifts. It seems to Ruby that the women in her dad's life would rather have her back out in the swamps than in the loving arms of her father. Eventually Ruby is forced to retreat, but not at her own will. Ruby isn't that strong of a character. She seems too weak and simple minded. I guess it could be that her life in the swamp has just not taught her that people will do anything in their power to lead you to disaster or just plain publicly humiliate you. Over all Ruby is a sweet girl and this book is very much worth reading

    What a GREAT Book!

I have read all the V.C Andrews books that have been published so far, and this by far is my favorite. After reading V.C Andrew's books, you become attached to the characters as if they were real. By the end of the book, you almost feel disappointed that it is finished, and cannot wait till you can read the next one. All of V.C Andrew's books are dear to my heart, and I hope they continue to be published for a long time to come.
