    In today's global environment the demands on leaders continue to change and often in more complex and challenging ways. Quality leadership and management skills can only be improved and strengthened through continued learning and experience. Perry Smith and Jeff Foley offer a wealth of varied experiences from their life long careers in leadership and management. Their writing skills in Rules & Tools for Leaders allow the reader to clearly and succinctly navigate through difficult issues in a manner that is easy to assimilate and understand. The checklists provided are extremely helpful for periodic review. The revised 4th edition includes the chapter " Managing The Electronic World", which provides a great resource for learning how to optimize the use of electronic devices, making them beneficial and not detrimental.
