    Good book

Rush of darkness was a good book, it was another adventure that moved the war closer to the forefront. At times I felt the book was rushed and the storyline didn't develop like I had hoped. I was really looking forward to Seth and Raine's story from the previous book. I was a bit disappointed because I'm such a big fan of this series. So I'm probably hard on Rhyannon Byrd when she doesn't come out with a stellar book like the rest of the others. I actually had a problem with Raine (the leading lady) throughout the story, I understand the leading character's need to seek revenge over the people who killed her sister and brutally harmed Raine. But Raine frustrated me to no end sometimes and I found myself not liking her at times. I had to really put myself in her shoes and remember that she was brutally attacked, and to really try and not think of her as a total b***h! I realize that is a bit harsh, but its how I felt with her personality sometimes. I loved Seth, he redeemed himself ten times over in this book. I have to say I'm really not sure if I'm going to like the next leading ladies Rhyannon Byrd has obviously selected in her next books of this series. Spark and the evil witch who is helping the kraven seem to be the next choices. I don't see how she can make Spark a likable character?? I barely like Raine in this book because of her attitude and anger she held on to throughout the story. How can she make Spark likable? And the witch who is helping the Kraven? Shes helping them!!! I hope Rhyannon Byrd can somehow make them lovable or I can't seem myself reading their stories, and that is really depressing because I love this series!
