Who doesn't love a sexy Seal that also happens to be a Wolf. I am a big fan of Terry Spear and was thrilled to be able to review this book. I also love how Ms. Spear brings back other characters from previous books. It is like a family reunion or coming home to friends. This book is another hit and a must read.

The book starts out with Anna and Bjornolf being sent on a rescue mission in the jungle. The team begins to realize that the rescue is a set up. After they successfully complete their mission, Anna and Bjornolf are sent on another one. This time they have to pose as a married couple at Christmas. The mission is to take in Nathan a teenaged wolf and figure out the murders that occurred at the Christmas tree farm where Nathan works. They must also figure out how the deaths at the Christmas tree farm tie in with the rescue mission they were just on. Bjornolf must also convince Anna that she doesn't have to be a loner anymore and get her Christmas spirit back.

Another Great Story from the Oregon Wolf Pack!

This book was pretty good! In my opinion I was hoping for more about Tessa and Hunter but I guess I should have realized the book wasn't about them. Bjornolf and Anna were such a cute couple and help each other get over their many problems! I just didn't like how the teens were, and are usually, treated so poorly. Like they are more of a nuisance then a person with feelings. But it was great because the teen couple added so much to the plot, and because of them we got to see how some of the other wolf packs were doing as well! I especially loved seeing Shelly and Duncan again! I hope there will be more where Jessica can go to visit Shelly or something!

This is the twelfth book in The Heart of the Wolf series. Characters from some of the previous titles in the series are included in this story; however this does not prevent it from being read as a stand-alone. I have become quite addicted to Ms. Spear’s work and I was looking forward to read this title and was quite enthused when I had the opportunity to read and review it. Ms. Spear certainly did not disappoint.

My favorite character is Anna. She is an undercover operative, who had been given the task of investigating the murder of two navy seals on a Christmas tree farm. She is a tough as nails she wolf that had a past that she was not willing to have discovered. The secrets from her past were a constant thorn in her side. Because of these secrets she believed that she would not be able to have the benefits of a loving family nor be able to have a lasting relationship.

Bjornolf Jorgenson (what a mouthful) is a Navy Seal and a grey wolf. He chose to work alone and was not a member of any pack. His job was to work in the shadows. He would assist other teams without them knowing that he was there as he never leaves a trace. He was literally a phantom.

After the completion of a mission that saw Bjornolf breaching his own protocol, he and Anna were tasked with an assignment which entailed them working undercover as newlyweds. The assignment involved an investigation into the mysterious deaths of two navy seals (gray wolves) on a Christmas Tree farm. It was obvious that these two had a history and Bjornolf clearly had a thing for Anna. It was quite fun to see these two in action especially when they were in denial as to how they felt about each other.

A Seal Wolf Christmas is an easy, exciting read and I found it quite difficult to put it down . It’s filled with humour, action and suspense and it held my interest through to the very end. There were quite a few unexpected twists and it definitely kept me trying to figure out what was going to happen next. This book is a must read for fans of Terry Spear and fans of shifter romance.

I am a huge fan of Terry Spear and her gloriously imaginative stories. Once again, Spear's envelopes us into the fascinating shifter world in A SEAL Wolf Christmas.

Retired Navy SEAL Bjornolf has had a thing for undercover operative Anna Johnson for some time now. Never pushing for any kind of attachments, both have kept their relationship professional. Nothing will get these two together if this assignment can't push these two gray wolves over the edge...acting as newlyweds inside the Oregon wolf pack during the holidays.

They both have baggage, they both are loners and now they come together to help an orphaned young shifter wolf.

I completely enjoyed watching Bjornolf and Anna's relationship change from cover to hot and heavy. The romantic attraction was as thick as a Christmas pudding and I gloried in observing it becoming more.

Spear brings in tons of back characters making it a Christmas to remember as well as giving us a fantastic side story of young teen love.

A fabulous holiday infused storyline, Terry Spear's wolves are a perfect way to ring in the Christmas spirit.

I received this ARC copy of A SEAL Wolf Christmas from SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication September 24, 2013.
