Lots of laughs
“Sad Monsters” consists of a variety of essays and such relating to monsters and their unique problems. We see in Godzilla’s diary that he suffers from ennui; we read the Abominable Snowman’s resumé, we see obituaries and personal ads about monsters, and the list goes on. Additionally there are some great illustrations to add to the fun.

I spent a lot of time laughing while I read this – the satirical use of modern-day psychological problems as applied to monsters is one of the things that tend to amuse me greatly, even if sometimes it strikes a bit close to home. If you’re looking for a laugh, you should definitely take a closer look at “Sad Monsters.” -
