I HAD THE BEST TIME reading this book
Sadie Shapiro is a gem. I remember reading this book many years ago and I was thrilled to find that it had been re-issued. I just love the character of Sadie. She's funny, feisty, wise, and very dear. Her Knitting Book left me with a smile on my face.

Love this book!
I read this book several years ago; a kind-hearted librarian dug it out of their stacks one day for me. Sadie is unforgettable! I've tried to find the book for sale and am so glad it's in print again. I would REALLY love it if you would offer it in NOOKbook format -- please???

Sadie Shapiro Knits and Solves Problems
Sadie is a character! I loved this book and would re-read it again. It is set in the early 1970's and was fun to look back at that time in history. Robert Kimmel Smith tells a good story and you will have fun reading it.

Delightful book I have been wanting to pass on
I am delighted to see this book is now available again. I have been searching for some time, wanting to buy this charming book for my daughter, who is an avid knitter. I fell in love with this book years ago, though I don't knit. Just love the story for its warmth and wisdom.
