If you don't want your child to ask about 'beheading'...
I was very disappointed with this book. The illustrations are beautiful, and I purchased this book to build my child's self esteem and also learn goodness. Instead, it seemed almost overly objective, not noting the miraculous works of these persons who became saints, but often that little is known about them or ambiguity regarding what they did to deem them holy. It also mentions often about how they died, bluntly and abrupt; almost as if the writer couldn't get enough information about their goodworks BUT BOY COULD HE TELL YOU HOW THEY DIED!..So if you want to have your child look at you blankly, waiting for how we apply their good works...and ask you,'What does 'beheaded' mean?' Then this is the book for you. Not for me.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
