Awesome
I loved this prequel it was so amazing and the story of Grassina finding Haywood. My favorite part was when at the end they use the "SALAMANDER SPELL" it was so absorbing as I read in class. I can't wait to finish the series!!

Very Boring...Cheesy!
I, personally, LOVE, E.D.'s books. But this one is very dissapointing!! The begining, I wanted to rip Grassina's sisters throat out!!! Grassina let her insult her like that!!! That was very mean...if I was her, I would have tured her into a frog right then and there! LOL!! True I would!! BUT I loved the ending...it was very romantic, but somehow almost cheesy. But it all wraped up into an "okay" book. I wouldn't really recomend this book, but I might (;!!

With all due reapect,
Alice!!*
p.s
Bewitching Season is my FAVORITE BOOK!!!! But NEVER read the secound one...Betraying Season, - for its very obvious and boring, and stupid with all the foolish flirting. Bewitching will leave you breathless for the love of her life!! Till the very end!!! -
THIS BOOK WILL NEVER SLIP FROM YOUR HANDS!!!
This book is one of my absolute favorites. I accidentally picked this one up first instead of the first one. but I LOVED IT!!! I love reading about the medieval times and princesses and happily ever afters and things. i also love fantasy adventure books. so if you like any or all of these things or enjoyed Tamora Pierce's book or any other popular fantasy and magical series. THEN PICK THIS ONE UP ON YOUR NEXT STOP TO B&N

Salamander Spell
This book was slightly cheesy. I mean, I read this in sixth grade, and even then I thought it was kinda childish and silly. Now I'm in high school and it just doesn't make any sense to me why you would write this. I really thought the first three were good. But once I read "No Place for Magic", and now this, I'm starting to doubt the series. I also read "Wings". It's pretty good, like the first Frog Princess books. That's better that this book. Really, the only reason I'm giving this a three is because I think the romance between Grassina and Haywood is kinda cute, in a way. Anyway, I would think twice before buying this. You never know.
