    Good tips but disappointed

The book offered a good concrete system for managing an already motivated sales force. But I thought it was pretty snarky when it came to challenges. Many examples that offered a challenge led to "needless to say, this employee soon found a better opportunity outside the company". That kind of attitude can be pretty expensive to a company. And I have to admit it was hard to get past the misspellings and gramatical errors in it--even the name of the book on the inside cover!

    Surprisingly Awesome

I bought this book as a suggestion from someone and thought "another sales book, great" AND it looks like a man's sports book to boot. Surprisingly it has changed my thinking and my approach in many ways and am so thankful for the suggestion. There are real practical approaches to handling every aspect of leadership and triggers to really change your way of thinking. Great book! Now it is my turn to recommend it out!

One of the most practical sales management books I have ever read

I am a director of sales for a fortune 200 company. Nathan Jamail's book "The Sales Leaders Playbook" is the most practical hands on sales management book I have ever read. Nathan uses sports analogies in a candid everyday style that gives advice on how to apply management techniques in a motivating and effective way. The true beauty of his book is that it is written with stand alone chapters. If you are a sales manager and need a refresher course on how to do a field ride then you can go to that chapter and get a great 10 minute refresher course. He covers topics such as field rides, sales meetings, one on ones, how to deal with bad attitudes and many more topics. I read Nathan's book on a weekend and could not wait to get to work Monday! My only complaint is how long it will be until his next book comes out!

    This Rocks

I am fortunate to have heard Mr. Jamail speak. I use his podcasts in my car as motivational messages (sure beats the gloom and doom from the mainstream media). I recommend the book. Better yet, I recommend you listen to him speak or book him for an event.
