    Amazing book! A must read.

This book opened up a whole new world for me. It is full of stories of how poetry has touched and changed individual lives, as well as making it accessible to the reader. It makes the world of poetry available to everyone. Very enriching...a must read!

    Excellent

Book is a significant addition to my library and CD is wonderful. I have repeatedly referred to Rosen's definition of learning "by heart" rather than "memorizing". Her practical application is amazing, inspiring. Book is interesting on many levels, especially as a teaching/learning tool.

This is for you, especially if you think you don't like poetry!

As a person who has never cared for poetry this has been a wonderful revelation about poems! I have a new respect for poets and their work. Ms. Rosen writes conversationally and the book has opened my eyes to a whole new world. The CD that is included is informative including poems read by by various people, and how the poem has impacted their life. Some poems are included in the book, but it is much more ABOUT poetry and how to incorporate it into your life
