    Not worth it

Schaum's are usually pretty good, but I found this one to be disappointing. Usually, you get a different explanation of things, that sometimes makes more sense. This outline just restates everything in your calculus book. It's not worth buying.

    Difficult Book

Positive: very through Negatives: Its hard to learn from this book, because it throws a variety of difficult problems at you at once. Instead of explaining a basic problem then giving the student a chance to practice similar problems, it quickly moves on to more difficult problems so you never learn the bascis. To tell you the truth the book is so focused on covering all facets of calculus that most of the problems you encounter in the book will never be on your test, because they are to difficult.

    Schaum's Outline of Calculus

This book is very bad at teaching first students. If you are a beginning Calculus student, this book will provide tasteless information. This book is horrible at explaining various problems clearly. It's like it goes from step 1 to step 2 and doesn't tell you how. If you are a high school student, DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. However, if you are a college student, THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING THIS BOOK.

    Schaum's Outline of Calculus

The problems do not provide adequate instructions on how to solve them. Thus doing the problems are alot harder than the examples. Plus this book lacks examples. Very few and unclear examples are presented.

Not for an AP Calculus Student

This workbook provides an excellent way to practice a variety of basic calculus problems. The disadvantage is that this book is not really tailored to the AP Calculus student. This book is aimed at college students. Finally, the problems are fairly easy to understand, but the explanations are confusing. The authors of this book use so many different variable expressions, it got me confused quickly.

    It's a very helpful book.

This book should be denoted as a best-seller in someone's category. It prepares the student for Calculus from ground up. Every problem increases in difficulty to cut down study time.
