This book is well-written and organized in a user-friendly way. Each chapter is broken up into categories of learning. It has some good ideas on helping your children learn at home prior to school and in addition to school. It seems to be geared a little more towards pre-schoolers, however. There were some school age ideas scattered throughout the book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Most of the ideas included in this book were ones I've already heard of (ie benefits of classical music), but it was a nice refresher course on ways to include learning in your everyday lifestyle. It also had interesting statistics included and described each category's importance to children. It also had a chapter on stability at home that I particularly enjoyed (probably because I agreed with it). It's worth reading at least once, if not repeatedly every few years or so.
