Adapted from the animated television movie script, ¿Scooby-Doo:
Adapted from the animated television movie script, “Scooby-Doo: Stage Fright” by Kate Howard is a new mystery featuring Scooby, Daphne, Fred, Velma, and Shaggy. Daphne and Fred are finalists in the Talent Star TV show, which has taken the Mystery, Inc. gang to the Leroux Opera House in Chicago. The opera house is plagued by a masked figure who is trying to scare everyone away, and it’s up to Scooby and the gang to figure out who and why. This junior novelization is comprised of short chapters and eight pages of color illustrations that outline the story and therefore should be avoided until finishing the book due to spoilers. A romantic angle makes this novelization different from the previous three, and perhaps less enticing, particularly for fans of the original television series. Overall, however, it is a fun story for young readers. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
