After reading Savvy by Ingrid Law, I knew that sooner or later I'd get around to reading its sequel, Scumble. This book really surprised me in an awe-inspiring way. It is the story of thirteen year old Ledge, who spends one unforgettable summer at his relative's ranch in Wyoming. I REALLY liked this book, because every teenager feels like Ledge did in the book every once in a while. The author made me really connect with the characters, which I loved. Scumble is the PERFECT companion to Savvy, and I would definitely give it a five-star rating!!!

    Not as good as 1st

My 10 year old adored the 1st and was thrilled to read 2nd, but she said it was so different from 1st she coudn't finish it. Besides being a completely different set of a characters (a big disappointment), she said the story line was not interesting.
