The Twist of the Plot is Evident from Early in the Book
The plot is a little tedious the first third of the book, then picks up as more murders are uncovered. Unfortunately, as things develop it is all too apparent the victims are part of a revenge spree. The discovery of the precise jury connection is just too pat as one of the victim's ex-wives reveals that he was on a jury----deux ex machina is alive and well! Was this review helpful? Nevertheless, with all its weaknesses, I still enjoyed time spent with Dismas and Abe.
While enjoyable, Lescroart's writing doesn't quite measure up to Michael Connelly.
