i am halfway through this book and am seriously struggling with even finishing it. the author seems to be desperately attempting to reconcile his botched spirituality through this book, and is dragging every other Christian along for the ride. he is making bold assumptions that all Christians view God as a vending machine, as he did, and is pushing a conglomerate mix of poverty gospel, guilt, confusion, antecdotal stories and Bible verses. the is using the reader as a vessel to pass off his guilt and shame, attempting to make himself feel better by making us feel worse. and for that, this book is a dire failure at anything good. i definitely suggest every person reading this book does so carefully, and believers should do so only under the protection of the Spirit.
