Determined to teach

This is a book that is interesting because it describes a one room school and living in the past. But the adventure and excitement is missing. It can be read from cover to cover if you are determined.

    Slow-going, Predictable Book

This book is titled The Secret School and is by the author Avi, I have rated this book a three star okay, but not great. I rated this book four stars because I thought it was an okay book, but did not keep your interest. I often found myself wanting to put the book down. I would not recommend this book to anyone who is seeking an exciting book that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The story seems very unrealistic, which is only good to a certain point. You could usually predict what was going to happen next and around when it was going to happen. From the middle of the book I could predict what the ending was going to be. This book tells the story of a school shutting down and how the children in the school continue their education in a secret school run by one of their classmates. I would recommend this book to elementary age students who like slow, easy and predictable books.
