I was offended by this book. I was intrigued in more ways to save money, but this is so filled with stupid, rude advice rather then giving practical helpful information. I was surprised to see the author mention knocking up his wife, watching porn for free, and giving your dog to the pound is a cheap way to get vet care. I do not see any of the humor in this book, all I saw was disrespect. Do not waste your time or money buying and reading this book. It belongs in the trash. I would not advise anyone to read it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Secrets of a Stingy Scoundrel tops my list of fun reads!!
This is a great book for anyone with even a shred of a sense of humor. Phil Villarreal turns everyday life into a comical approach to save money. His new book is a refreshing break from the monotony some of us face on a daily basis. I am also very impressed at the length of time a Wendy's cup will last. I can only imagine the hundreds of gallons of free soda this little gem has helped get. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys laughing and being thoroughly entertained. The book also pays for itself within mere weeks of practicing just a few of the money grubbing tips found inside. I've cut nearly $200 out of my monthly budget! Was this review helpful?
