A gift from a different view

I was given this book by a friend after I found out I had a brain tumor.
I have had my share of surgeries over the years, but having a brain tumor, well, this was the straw that broke the camel's back.

The further into the book I read, things started to click and make me see things differently.

I could relate to so much that was shared in the book and how it helped me to begin to recover from those hits.
It is a support group in so many ways.

I have post-it notes throughout the book so I can go back and re-read those sections that really hit home.

The meaning of "forgiveness" and how powerful it is.
One can only appreciate the efforts and honesty put into this book.
Much thanks to the authors and God Bless your works.

    A TIMELY GEM

This book is a great antidote for self-help books that are so often cliche-ridden and reductive. It is well-written and grounded in the "real world." The advice is practical, insightful, and tempered by recognizable experience. At a time when so many feel so much anxiety about the stability of their lives and futures--this is a timely investment in personal development.
