Great Novella!

I enjoyed this story and read it in one day :) It was nice to see Griffen did after leaving his best friend and headed home to the wife. I can't wait for your next fairy tale remake in this series. Thank you for this cute, romantic story.

What free sample

I am starting to get very upset at the lack of free samples of books. It will be nice if we can read more then the title page or the table of contents.

    It's over already

Book had potential for fun dialogue and scenarios...book started and all of a sudden it was over. Estranged husband and wife reunite, 50 pages, copulation, few more pages finished. Disappointed and glad I only paid a dollar or two

    Realy?!

He abandons her on their wedding night, becomes a pirate, doesn't return for 14 years. When he finally comes home he finds that she has been waiting patiently for him and is still a virgin. Sure, because there are lots of 34 year old virgins who would happily wait while their husbands sleep around! Ridiculus!

    more from this reviewer

    so-so

nothing exciting. rather tame. If you are just curious as to how everything kinda started for the wtih this kiss short story trilogy... you could consider this interesting. You can skip most of it and still get the gist of the story.

Even Eloisa James can have a bad day..................................

Pheobe and Griff meet for the first time on their wedding day. Arranged marriage. He jumps out the window on their wedding night and doesn't show up again for 14 years. He's been busy pirating. She is not all that thrilled to see him and he keeps calling her Poppy because he thinks that's her name. Nevertheless by the end of day one Pheobe and Griff fall into bed and of course into love. He's surprised she is a virgin, Aren't we all. Pheobe is the most forgiving woman on the planet and Griff is the biggest jerk. Seriously. What was Eloisa thinking?
