This is the first of three Jane Porter stories; it's followed by EDUCATING JANE PORTER and REINVENTING JANE PORTER, which taken together come out to the length of a typical novel. The parts don't stand alone, but even if you read all three, what they add up to doesn't quite add up. It's awkwardly paced, and much of the characters' behavior just doesn't make sense. There's a lot of sex, mostly BDSM-flavored, so if you like that sort of thing, have at it (so to speak); I didn't find it all that exciting, myself. It's pretty mechanical, as erotica goes; not much emotional engagement. One specific plot peeve? Jane and her colleague are supposed to be event planners, but they spend the entire weekend off in supply closets and bedrooms and everywhere else in the building, having rough sex instead of coordinating their staff. Running an event of that size requires actual work, believe it or not, and lots of it. These chicks would be SO fired. For a freebie, it's hard to complain, but if you want to read some BDSM-y erotica that actually engages your brain as well as your page-turning hand, I recommend checking out Joey W. Hill's books. I haven't yet got them all, but I've been really impressed with what I've read so far.

    Good Story

    I've read some erotic stories, and I believe this is a well written one, since it does not go overboard like some do. It keeps you reading, wanting to know what's going to happen next, which is always good. I did not like is the characters' stereotypes; we have Antonio who is latin, muscular,and then Jane, who is blond, curvy, and all the descriptions one might think of--like I said: stereotypical. But other than that, is a good story.

    Great quick read if you're into a SEXY book. Reading this makes you want to grab your man or fav' toy. Definately could cause an addiction.

    Hot, steaming, great read!!!!!!

    I read the whole series...they are all great, it makes you wish you wish you were Jane, it makes you start thinking of your wild side....couldn't put it down. Great read.

    Amazing, pulls me right in.

    Fantastic!

    Absolutely the best! I reccomend buying the other two books in the Jane Porter series. I didnt want it to end!

    snooze fest

    The MC complained and whined so much in the first chapter that it made me want to throttle her. And the chemistry between characters was just lacking and didn't really make the story flow.
    Yes, sex scenes were nice BUT i like more in my bumping uglies.

    Want next book OMGoodness!

    Ready for next book...they should have been made into 1 book with seperate sections...wish i had them all can't get enough!
