    The Seduction really works

I was frustrated with a male co-worker who was holding me back and found this book at the right time. As I read into the book, I realized that I was doing all the wrong things. Figuring that I didn't have anything to loose, I changed my approach. I was really surprised by the results. The book itself is a great read. Ms DiSesa's writing style keeps you engaged and was very easy to relate too. I have lent out the book so much that I need to get a new copy to re-read. A must have for any woman making her way to the top!

    Entertaining and Informative

This book was a quick and entertaining read, finally some "real world" advice from some at the top of their profession.

    Fantastic!

This is an excellent book - absolutely on point with vital lessons for business survival in each chapter, yet written so entertainingly it never becomes dull or tedious. It's definitely a keeper, one I will re-read often - just to be sure I don't slip back into old habits! I highly recommend it to all women in the business world - no matter the level of their position in the company.

    Witty, entertaining, insightful

Sometimes you CAN judge a book by its cover - the title promises an entertaining read, and it delivers that and much more - including some genuine 'aha!' moments! For example - my poor old testosterone-deprived mom taught me that modesty is a virtue. Ms. DiSesa, without compromising her own virtue, explains how mom unwittingly hindered my career by raising me to be a 'quiet achiever'. (Can I get a do-over?) And the author's discussion of 'stimulus and response' had me emailing friends a compelling anecdote she uses to illustrate the concept. This is not just another new-age, gender-specific, self-help exercise from an earnest liberated woman, but a sharing of experience and wise, witty, insightful advice (for men and women alike) from a woman whose resume and accomplishments prove she knows what she's talking about. I loved this book.

    Loved it!

I read the book cover to cover over the weekend... and loved it! I think a lot of what Nina DiSesa wrote also applies outside the office. I had fun with it- and experimented with my 15 year old son. As I sat reading the book Sunday morning I asked my son if he could possibly make me a cup of oatmeal- something he had never done before. After I had it I told him that it was the best oatmeal I had ever had in my entire life and neither I nor his Dad could ever come close to making oatmeal this delicious.. I continued closing with ¿I could never possibly have anyone else¿s oatmeal again.¿ Not only did he promise that he will make it for me again but he actually looked like he was looking forward it. Anyway, back to the book... It¿s great!
