better than ansel adams
this is a dramatic biography of a great photographer that fell under my radar until i wanted to visit the everglades. the prose is a little over the top at times, but strong language is needed to compete with the fabulous photography. Was this review helpful? it's a must have for anyone traveling the everglades, anyone interested in photography and every american. the truth about the ecology of the everglades needs to sink in so everyone understands why this area needs protection. and so we dont' repeat those mistakes.
wish it came in paperback.
