Recommended!

Be sure to read both books in the Christopher Snow series! There was supposed to be a 3rd, but Koontz apparently never got around to writing it! Wish he would!

Boring Sleeper

While I am an avid Dean Koontz fan, and have read all his books to date, I find Seize The Night a boring sequal to Fear Nothing, which was equally boring. It has taken me a week to read 150 pages. I start to fall asleep everytime I read this book. Too much irrelevant detail and so far, nothing has transpired that has even made my heart skip a beat. I hope he doesn't write a third novel in this trilogy. I will, however, finish this book because I finish everything I start....no matter how boring!

    Entertaining

The twists and turns in the main storyline keep you going. From one page to the next, you'll yearn to know what's next. There are at times, however, too much detailed descriptions of the relationships between characters, and their backgrounds as individuals, that interrupt conversations and even, at times, the flow of what is going on. You may find yourself going back to pick up the storyline again after some of these lengthy writings. Overall, a very entertaining and satisfying book.

Have patience, it will get better eventually

Okay, I had to literally force myself to read the first third of this book. The beginning is horrible, what's with those stupid monkeys!!! The reader is subjected to about a hundred dull pages of boring monkeys! Who cares if they spin a manhole cover! It does eventually pick up and the readers patience is rewarded. The last two thirds of the book are unbelieveable - with the exception of a few more dull areas. By the end of the book the reader is totally freaked out! If you're willing to deal with the beginning, then the book is worth it.
