Informative and concise treatment regarding misconceptions of Catholic history
I really enjoyed the book and the clarifications author made regarding commonly held misconceptions of Catholic history. I was a Protestant for 51 years that converted to Catholicism 6 years ago. I wish the author had simply presented the facts because at times she appeared to be sarcastic in talking about those who have made unjustified accusations against Catholicism. I also believe she downplayed some of the abuses of the Catholic church that led to the reformation. Had the Catholic church had the courage to reform itself the reformation would not have happened.
